After about 5 years of suffering I, finally, dumped bluehost for good and I'm a happy man since then.

The most frequent problem I faced with blue host was the maximum number of files quota. I used to run phpBB forum and it used to always hit their quota. The warning e-mails used to go straight to SPAM folder and I used to miss their warnings and they used to lock account.

Hard drives are dirt cheap now a days. Not sure why they put such stupid restriction.

With bluehost you get what you pay for. Besides the sluggish server and scores of technical problems I've also found that Bluehost support team are rude.

Apart from some technical problems and useless support they seem to be ok for pretty basic CHEAP hosting.

Bluehost is too slow.

Even for simple static website not using any database or any script the websites hosted on Bluehost load very slow.

They are very aggressive in marketing but I wish they could put more effort in adding more geares to their servers.

Customer support is okie, control panel is typical as for any cPanel, they give good number of databses but it is useless as server is slow.

Another biggest Technical problem with bluehost is that you can't remap your domain's directory which seems to be something primitive. Most of other hosts which I've used allow you to remap any domain to any destination but bluehost seems to be weired in this. And the worst part is that you can't do anything with the root domain (the one with which you bought the hosting packages).

C'on guys this is 21st century, it is not so difficult to fix above technical glitches.

Focus more on fixing servers rather than spending a lot of fortune on hooking up new customer which are going to dump you anyway once they see your server performance.
